Ran the 26.2 mile - 115th Boston Marathon on April 18th 2011. Started at end of 3rd wave around 11:00 AM Monday.
Clock said 4 hours 20 minutes at finish line so I figure I did about 4 hours and 10 minutes.
It was a perfect day for this race. The race started in Hopkinton Ma then ran straight east into the
city of Boston with a nice trail wind aiding us along. Nice sunny cool day. Around 55 degrees (F).
I ran the first 13 miles with my daughter TEENY who ended up pulling away from me the second half.
She broke 4 hours. Nice. We were both Boston Bandits. Started at end of pack and ended up passing people
the entire time as the spectators cheered the whole route. Was especially loud by the colleges.
BC and Wellsley were the loudest until you hit the last 3 miles. The cheering was incredible. Gave me chills.
Great experience. Although I the think the human body was not built to run more than 20 miles in any one go.
It is something I would recommend to all who are able. 4/18/11

Had a good time playing rugby in the first ever Pearl River Rugby feis March 21 2009.
Brought back memories of sandlot football w/my best buddy Bobby Carroll from the 1st grade @ St. Anthony's Nanuet!
Thanks to Eddie Chazen, Oz, Mike Lavner and the rest of the doggies for letting
a HAS been, never WAS share the field with them. It was great.

In Hudson River 4/24/11 Easter Sunday. Water starting to warm up. Swam around a bit.
Streak continues - 58 months and counting - in Hudson every month since 6/6/6 - Emma's operation.
